Black Friday

So, Melanie and I went out today to find some deals. We went over to Target and found some awesome stuff for some great prices. However, I would love to tell everyone about our great items and the cheap prices---However, something happened that I found to be so exciting it actually may have ruined the rest of the day. It was the peak of the day. As we are going into Target, there is a guy running out of the store like he is on fire with the police in hot pursuit. People, it was like an episode of COPS. It was all I could do to stop myself from yelling out " bad boys, bad boys watcha ya gonna do, watcha gonna ya gonna do when they come for you!" I'm almost positive the police may have not be amused by that. I've seen alot of stuff--mostly boring mind you- but I have never seen a man running from the police. I'm gonna tell you, its not as exciting as it is on tv,but it was still interesting.

Three Dog Bakery-Apex North Carolina

So, a while back I came across an ad about a bakery for dogs. I drove over today and checked the place out. Great-Fantastic-Wonderful. I love this place. They make homemade treats for your dog. I picked up several sample pieces for Sasha. Including their Shepard's Pie, Scary Cat, Snickerdoodle, and Puppermint Cookie. Sasha has tried the Scary Cat thus far and she loved it! My grandmother's dog, Holly ate half the Puppermint cookie, she loved it! All the samples I picked up today were about 7 dollars. However, that including about two of each item. They have toys, beds, clothes and food all for dogs. If you haven't been, GO! I will be picking up some of Sasha's and Holly's Xmas presents there. Great items, great prices, and the customer service was great too! See ya there. (www.threedog.com)

Cavemen

Just also wanted to mention briefly, that Caveman can be watched at ABC.com. One episode and you will be addicted!

Wheels

Well, I have wheels. I took the car to get a couple of new tires. Left it at Walmart while I went to church. Hats off to Walmart. They got the car in and out before I came back from church. Wicked.
Other than that nothing new here. I did make some great purchases from Craigslist. I will post some pics in the a.m. Also I just tried this new cleaner, Orange Glow for wood. If you have hardwood floors or wood furniture--GET IT! What a fantastic product. It works~ not only does it make the wood shine, but it has a nice non-overwhelming smell.
Sasha is well, her bladder infection appears to be gone. She is bored stiff tonight and has ran in and out a hundred times since I came home this afternoon. She is such a brat~but ohhh sooo cute! See you guys on the flip side!

Simple Saturday

It started out that way, just a nice crisp, sunny Saturday. Melanie, the baby, and myself went off to the outlets. The outlets were great. Crowded but still nice. The baby was fun and was real good. We went to lunch and Tuesday Morning ( I love Tuesday Morning ). Small problem, Melanie was feeling sick. However, we all still managed to have a good time. We went back to their house. I played with the kid some and had a quick cup of coffee. Then I was off to home. Medicine duty called. My sweet baaboo, Sasha, has had a bladder infection. On the way home, it happened. I knew it was coming. Why do bad things always happen on the weekend? Can it not happen on a workday? So I can at least get a few minutes away from the job. I ran over something and my tire busted. Luckily, I was on a road that had absolutely no shoulder and a slightly steep ditch. Thank Goodness! Well, I had to run off into the ditch. The car was literally sideways, I was crawling out of the car. I called AAA, ( WWW.AAA.COM) they were great. It was nice to have a friendly voice on the phone. The lady called a tow truck company right then and told me it would be an hour. However, it was only 30 minutes. Many thanks to Sherrill's Towing. They were wicked fast getting there and fixing my tire. Several people stopped to see if I needed help. Thanks to all of the great people living in the Mcgee's Crossroads Community! You people rule! Folks, if you don't have AAA---get it! I have had it for many years and they have never let me down. If your a single female on the road, you need it.
Before I sign off the blog, I want to throw a special thanks out to the freaky dude who stood down the road from my car and stared at me the entire time my car was lying in the ditch. Let me tell you, there is nothing more reassuring when your a single woman, in the middle of nowhere, with a broken down car, near dark, than a weird man staring at you for 30 plus minutes straight.( not talking or moving, just staring) It is very reassuring and comforting. Thanks alot weirdo. Have I mentioned in my previous blogs that I am a freak magnet? Oh yeah, if there is a freak within 20 miles they are totally on me. Don't get to jealous...
